Great Lakes Outdoors Foundation (GLOF) sponsored the Cooley Law School "Becoming an Outdoors Woman" (BOW) shotgun class event at the Capitol Area Sportsman's League (CASL) on August 3, 2008.

The women were taught the basics of safety and shooting by volunteer members of the CASL. Professor Nadine Huggins, and her student Titi Laosibikan, fired off over a hundred rounds of target load at the skeet range. The Great Lakes Outdoors Foundation graciously supplied the ammo for the event.

The BOW event was hosted at CASL by Lynn Marla, Education Outreach coordinator of Michigan Department of Natural Resources.  CASL members Tom Stewart and Lyle Whittaker were the “head” instructors ably assisted by Rob Olsen and Al Massey.
